Phil McAndrew is putting on a contest where cartoonists draw scenes from movies. I was able to knock two out after work today. The first is from a movie directed by Hal Ashby that I like a lot. Harold and Maude. The second is from one of my favorite movies, from my favorite director Wes Anderson. [...] I did some drawing in my sketchbook this weekend. And I setup my Flikr account. One more way for me to send my dispatches into the void, I guess. On Sunday, I went to Sawgrass Lake Park with a friend [...] I have completed a new chapter in the Adventures of Reginald Crabapple: Budget Knight. Like the first two chapters, each page was written and drawn in one hour. It’s called Reginald Crabapple’s New Assignment. First attempt at watercolor painting digitally or analog. I’ll likely be doing more of this kind of thing. It’s a little time consuming, but I like the way it looks. Here’s another one from my sketchbook. It’s from last year some time. Not exactly current, but I really like it. |
